🧩 Role Overview – Functional Test Engineer
The organization is hiring a Functional Test Engineer with 3 years 10 months of experience for an Individual Contributor position.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Functional Testing and Manual Testing, along with working knowledge of Selenium or Playwright.
The selected candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and supporting high-quality software releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze functional and business requirements
• Design and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Functional and Manual Testing across application workflows
• Execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing as required
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Perform defect retesting and verify fixes
• Maintain accurate test execution reports and QA documentation
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams
• Support release validation and production readiness activities
• Contribute to improving test coverage and QA processes
• Use Selenium or Playwright for relevant automation and validation activities
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA discussions
