🧩 Role Overview – Junior Software Tester
The organization is hiring a Junior Software Tester with 1–3 years of experience for a fully remote position.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Manual Testing techniques, SDLC, STLC, test case execution, and bug tracking.
You will work closely with developers and senior QA professionals to identify defects, validate fixes, and ensure applications meet expected quality standards before release.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform Manual Testing of web and mobile applications
• Analyze requirements and understand application workflows
• Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Functional Testing across application features
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Perform defect retesting and verify fixes
• Execute Regression Testing after application changes
• Support Smoke, Sanity, and Integration Testing activities
• Maintain accurate test documentation and execution results
• Work closely with developers and senior testers
• Communicate testing results and identified issues effectively
• Support quality validation before production releases
• Contribute to improving overall QA processes and test coverage
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Good understanding of Manual Testing
• Knowledge of Functional and Regression Testing
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in Test Case Creation and Execution
• Knowledge of Bug / Defect Tracking
• Familiarity with Jira or similar defect management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
