🧩 Role Overview – Automation Tester
The organization is hiring an Automation Tester with 3+ years of experience for an opportunity based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java and Selenium Automation Testing, along with knowledge of API and Functional Testing.
The candidate must be a Mandarin speaker, with strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Perform Functional Testing and API Testing across application workflows
• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing as required
• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects
• Maintain and enhance automation test scripts and frameworks
• Validate application functionality across different test scenarios
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project teams
• Support defect analysis and resolution verification
• Maintain test documentation, execution results, and QA reports
• Contribute to improving automation coverage and overall software quality
• Follow established SDLC and STLC processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant QA/Automation Testing experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing
• Good knowledge of Java
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in Functional Testing and API Testing
• Knowledge of Test Case Design and Execution
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
