🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester
Cloud Technologies Ltd is hiring a Manual Tester with practical knowledge of software testing techniques, SDLC, STLC, and defect tracking.
The role involves executing manual test activities, identifying software defects, documenting test results, and collaborating with development teams to improve application quality.
In this role, you will:
• Perform manual testing of software applications
• Execute test cases and validate application functionality
• Identify, document, and track defects
• Support regression and functional testing activities
• Work with development teams to ensure quality software releases
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze application requirements and prepare relevant test scenarios
• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases
• Perform functional and regression testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes
• Maintain testing documentation and execution results
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders during the defect resolution process
• Follow SDLC and STLC processes throughout the testing lifecycle
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices
• Contribute to automation testing initiatives when required
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 1–4 years of experience in Manual Testing / Software Quality Assurance
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Strong knowledge of manual software testing techniques
• Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools
• Understanding of Functional and Regression Testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Knowledge of Automation Testing
• Familiarity with test automation tools or frameworks
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with test case management and defect life cycle
• Basic knowledge of API or database testing
• Exposure to continuous testing and modern QA practices
