EBSS is looking for an experienced Manual QA Tester to join its remote Quality Assurance team.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, API Testing, SQL, and Database Testing across ERP, web, and mobile applications.
🧩 Role Overview – Manual QA Tester
The QA professional will be responsible for validating application functionality, identifying defects, executing comprehensive test scenarios, and ensuring software quality throughout the development and release lifecycle.
The role involves close collaboration with developers and stakeholders within an Agile/Scrum environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform Manual Testing of ERP, Web, and Mobile Applications
• Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Prepare clear and comprehensive Bug Reports
• Perform defect retesting and verify fixes
• Conduct API Testing using Postman / Swagger
• Perform SQL queries and Database Testing activities
• Maintain QA documentation, test results, and defect records
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects
• Support application releases and maintain overall test coverage
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow QA best practices
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Manual QA processes
• Experience testing ERP, Web, and Mobile Applications
• Strong knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Experience in Test Case Writing and Execution
• Strong Bug Reporting and Defect Management skills
• Knowledge of API Testing
• Experience with Postman / Swagger
• Good knowledge of SQL and Database Testing
• Familiarity with Jira / Azure DevOps is preferred
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
