Qualitrix is looking for an experienced Senior Manual Tester with strong hands-on expertise in the Capital Markets / Financial Services domain.
The ideal candidate will contribute to software quality through comprehensive manual testing, defect management, and end-to-end validation of financial applications.
🧩 Role Overview – Senior Manual Tester
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and executing manual testing activities, validating business requirements, identifying defects, and supporting high-quality software releases.
Strong knowledge of Capital Markets, Manual Testing, STLC, SDLC, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and JIRA is required.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze functional and business requirements
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Manual, Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing
• Validate application workflows related to Capital Markets / Financial Services
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Perform defect retesting and verify fixes
• Maintain test documentation and QA reports
• Manage defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
• Support release validation and production readiness activities
• Follow established SDLC and STLC processes
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality issues effectively
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 5–6 years of relevant Manual Testing experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Software Testing
• Good understanding of the Capital Markets / Financial Services domain
• Experience with Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing
• Strong Test Case Design and Execution skills
• Good knowledge of Defect Management
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience with JIRA / Defect Management Tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Candidates who can join within 20 days are preferred
