🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer | Manual Testing
OrangeMantra is hiring a QA Engineer with 2–5 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in Manual Testing.
This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, comfortable with structured testing processes, and interested in ensuring application quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
The selected candidate will collaborate with developers, project teams, and stakeholders to validate functionality, identify defects, and support reliable software releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and functional requirements and identify appropriate testing scenarios
• Create, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Manual and Functional Testing across application workflows
• Execute Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
• Perform defect retesting and verify fixes
• Manage defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Participate in requirement analysis and QA discussions
• Collaborate closely with developers and project teams
• Support release validation and production readiness activities
• Maintain testing documentation and execution reports
• Contribute to improving test coverage and QA processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Good knowledge of Functional Testing
• Experience with Test Case and Test Scenario Creation
• Hands-on experience in Regression, Smoke, and Sanity Testing
• Strong Defect Identification and Tracking skills
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates available within Immediate to 15 Days are preferred
