🧩 Role Overview – Senior Playwright & Python Automation Test Engineer
LTM is hiring experienced Automation Test Engineers with 8–14 years of experience and strong expertise in Playwright and Python.
This is a senior technical role focused on designing scalable automation solutions, improving test coverage, integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines, and providing technical leadership across QA initiatives.
The selected professional will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to define effective testing strategies and deliver reliable software products.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Python
• Lead the development and execution of automated test cases for complex software applications
• Design and improve scalable test automation frameworks and processes
• Integrate Playwright-based automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and define automation strategies
• Work with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to establish test strategies and acceptance criteria
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve automation test failures
• Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend solutions to improve test effectiveness
• Monitor and report test coverage, quality metrics, and automation progress to stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex automation issues
• Mentor junior QA engineers on Python programming and automation best practices
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality, reusable test code
• Continuously evaluate new Playwright and Python automation capabilities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA engineering standards and processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 8–14 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering / Test Automation
• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright
• Strong programming and automation experience with Python
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of UI test automation strategies
• Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and test failure analysis skills
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
