🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating web applications, APIs, backend workflows, and end-to-end business processes. You will create and execute test plans, identify defects, perform release validation, and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to improve overall software quality.
The role combines strong manual testing expertise with exposure to modern automation using Playwright and Python or TypeScript.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
Perform comprehensive Manual and Regression Testing.
Validate REST APIs, backend workflows, and application integrations.
Test web applications across functional and business-critical workflows.
Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
Develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright with Python or TypeScript.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve defects.
Perform retesting and regression validation after bug fixes.
Support release validation and production-readiness activities.
Contribute to QA process improvements and overall software quality initiatives.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate throughout the SDLC.
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
2–5 years of experience in QA Engineering, Software Testing, or Quality Assurance.
Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Regression Testing.
Experience with API Testing and REST APIs.
Good experience in Web Application Testing.
Knowledge of Functional, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
Hands-on experience with Playwright using Python or TypeScript.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong defect identification, reporting, and tracking skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a product engineering environment.
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Experience with MongoDB.
API automation and advanced REST API testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
Knowledge of test automation framework design.
Exposure to cloud-based application testing.
Familiarity with performance or security testing concepts.
Experience working with modern DevOps and Agile engineering practices.
