🔍 Essential Skillset & Responsibilities
💫 Manual Testing for Web & Mobile Applications
As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end manual testing of web and mobile applications. You will ensure application stability, usability, and performance by executing structured test cases and identifying defects before production release.
💫 Test Case Design & Execution
You will design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements. Your role will ensure that all features are validated thoroughly with high accuracy and coverage.
💫 API Testing & Validation
You will perform API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured, validating backend services, data flow, and integrations. Strong understanding of API response validation and error handling will be essential.
💫 Agile QA & CI/CD Collaboration
Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure continuous testing and delivery. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Git version control will help streamline testing processes in fast-paced development cycles.
💫 Defect Tracking & Quality Assurance
You will identify, log, and track defects using standard QA practices and tools. Close coordination with development teams will ensure faster defect resolution and improved software quality.
💫 Automation Testing Exposure (Good to Have)
While this is primarily a manual testing role, exposure to automation tools like Selenium or Cypress will be an added advantage. Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript will support future automation initiatives.
🔍 Required Skills & Qualifications
💫 2–4 years of experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications
💫 Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC & STLC
💫 Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured
💫 Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
💫 Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
💫 Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
💫 Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript (preferred)
💫 Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium/Cypress) is a plus
💫 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
