🧩 Role Overview – QA Test Engineer (Automation | API | Agile Environment)
AssetTL is hiring an experienced QA Test Engineer with strong expertise in manual and automation testing.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to strengthen their expertise in functional testing, regression testing, API testing, and automation frameworks—high-value skills in the QA and software testing market.
In this role, you will:
• Perform end-to-end testing across web, mobile, and API layers
• Work closely with development teams in Agile delivery cycles
• Ensure high-quality and timely product releases
You will play a key role in improving application stability, test coverage, and user experience.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for web/mobile apps and APIs
• Design and execute detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear reporting and follow-up
• Develop automated test scripts using Selenium with Java
• Maintain and enhance regression suites for continuous testing
• Conduct API testing using Postman and performance testing using JMeter
• Validate backend data using SQL queries
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely bug closure
• Define acceptance criteria and support quality validation in Agile environments
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing
• Experience in Selenium automation using Java
• Hands-on experience in API Testing with Postman
• Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA
• Knowledge of mobile testing tools
• Understanding of test data management and release validation
