🧩 Role Overview – QA Lead Engineer (Java | Selenium | Python | Playwright)
Cyrino is looking for an experienced QA Lead Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing and team leadership.
This role is ideal for professionals who want to combine hands-on testing depth with leadership responsibilities across modern QA stacks like Java, Selenium, Python, and Playwright—high-demand skills in today’s tech market.
In this role, you will:
• Lead automation testing initiatives and quality practices
• Guide QA execution across projects and teams
• Ensure high-quality delivery across web applications
You will play a key role in driving test automation strategy, release quality, and team performance.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage QA automation activities across projects
• Design and execute automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Python, and Playwright
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Review test coverage, execution quality, and defect reporting
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Mentor QA team members and support skill development
• Ensure high standards of quality across releases
• Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and review meetings
• Identify process improvements and optimize QA workflows
• Support delivery readiness and production stability
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 6–8 years of experience in QA / Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Python, and Playwright
• Proven experience in QA leadership or lead responsibilities
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with automation framework design and implementation
• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage quality outcomes
• Local candidates from Chennai only
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to API Testing (Postman / REST Assured)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Git
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments
• Experience in enterprise or product-based applications
