🧩 Role Overview – QA Manual Tester (Web + Mobile + API Testing)
Codknox is hiring a QA Manual Tester with strong hands-on experience in web, mobile app, and API testing for its Mohali office.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to grow their career in software testing while working on mobile-first and web-based products using modern QA tools and Agile methodologies.
In this role, you will:
• Ensure product quality across web and mobile platforms
• Execute structured manual testing cycles
• Work closely with developers and business teams to deliver defect-free releases
You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and improving user experience.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform Manual Testing for web applications, mobile apps, and APIs
• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Conduct Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Usability Testing
• Perform API testing and validate responses
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira / Trello
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely bug resolution
• Validate mobile app compatibility across devices/platforms
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
• Ensure release quality and production readiness
• Maintain testing documentation and reports
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Manual Testing / QA
• Hands-on experience in Web Testing and Mobile App Testing
• Experience in API Testing
• Good knowledge of defect tracking tools like Jira / Trello
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile Methodology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Immediate joiners preferred
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to automation testing tools
• Experience in eCommerce or product-based applications
• Basic SQL / Database testing knowledge
• Cross-browser and cross-device testing experience
