🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester (Life Insurance | UAT & API Testing)
Avencoree is hiring Manual Testers with experience in Life Insurance applications to support testing across core policy administration systems.
This role is ideal for QA professionals looking to build expertise in insurance domain testing, UAT environments, and API validation—high-value domains in the IT job market.
In this role, you will:
• Perform manual testing across insurance applications
• Validate policy workflows and system integrations
• Ensure high-quality releases in UAT environments
You will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, accuracy, and business readiness for insurance platforms.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Execute manual functional testing for life insurance applications
• Perform regression testing to ensure system stability
• Conduct smoke and sanity testing in UAT environments
• Validate API integrations across systems and web portals
• Design and maintain test cases, test plans, and reports
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA/Bugzilla
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
• Validate UI workflows and system functionality
• Ensure quality and readiness for business validation
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 1–4 years of experience in Manual Testing
• Experience in Life Insurance domain (preferred)
• Strong understanding of UAT environments and policy administration systems
• Knowledge of API validation and integration testing
• Familiarity with web applications and UI testing
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Understanding of SDLC & STLC methodologies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of life insurance products (Term, ULIP, Endowment)
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)
