🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer (API | UI | Database | Playwright)
HAPTIQ is hiring skilled QA Engineers to join its Pune team for multiple openings.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong manual testing, database validation, API testing, and Playwright automation exposure—high-demand skills in the software quality market.
In this role, you will:
• Perform end-to-end quality assurance across applications
• Validate backend data using SQL queries
• Support automation initiatives using Playwright
You will play a key role in ensuring application stability, data accuracy, and seamless user experience.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform Manual Testing across web and business applications
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
• Conduct API testing and backend validations
• Write complex SQL queries using PostgreSQL / MySQL
• Validate data consistency and business workflows
• Create and maintain detailed test cases and scenarios
• Identify, log, and track defects effectively
• Support automation testing using Playwright
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product managers
• Ensure quality delivery in Agile sprint cycles
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
• Strong experience in API, UI, and Manual Testing
• Excellent query writing skills in PostgreSQL / MySQL
• Minimum 1+ year experience in Playwright / Automation Testing
• Good understanding of SDLC / STLC processes
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA / Bugzilla preferred
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in Selenium or other automation tools
• Knowledge of cloud environments
• Performance testing exposure
