🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester (QA Engineer | Functional | API Testing)
Humanix Technologies is hiring an experienced Manual Tester to support high-quality delivery for web and enterprise applications.
This role is ideal for QA professionals with strong experience in manual testing, functional and regression testing, and API validation—key skills in high-demand QA and software testing domains.
In this role, you will:
• Perform end-to-end manual testing across applications
• Validate functionality, API behavior, and test coverage
• Ensure stable, reliable, and high-quality releases
You will play a key role in improving product quality, defect resolution, and user experience.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and UI testing
• Design and execute detailed test cases and test plans
• Perform API testing and validate responses and workflows
• Manage defects through the full defect lifecycle
• Use JIRA, ADO, and similar tools for defect tracking and reporting
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Follow Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
• Maintain clear test documentation and reporting
• Support release readiness and quality assurance processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement in QA practices
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer / Manual Tester
• Strong experience in Manual, Functional, Regression, and UI Testing
• Strong experience in API Testing
• Experience in Test Case Design and Test Planning
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, ADO, and defect lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation
• Exposure to automation testing tools
• Experience in web and mobile application testing
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
