🧩 Role Overview – QA Automation Tester
HP is looking for an experienced QA Automation Tester to join its Pune team and contribute to the quality assurance of enterprise-grade applications.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, API testing, and automation frameworks who enjoy working in Agile environments and delivering high-quality software solutions.
In this role, you will:
• Design and execute automation testing strategies
• Validate APIs and application workflows
• Support high-quality software releases through effective test automation
You will play a critical role in improving test coverage, reducing defects, and enhancing release confidence.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
• Perform API testing using Rest Assured and Postman
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases
• Conduct Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing
• Create and maintain Cucumber-based BDD automation frameworks
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders for defect resolution
• Track, analyze, and report defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Validate application performance and quality before releases
• Contribute to automation framework enhancements and QA best practices
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation and Software Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Java programming
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with Rest Assured and API Testing
• Hands-on experience with Postman
• Experience in Cucumber and BDD frameworks
• Strong Manual Testing and Regression Testing knowledge
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• PF documentation is mandatory
• Candidates should be Pune-based and available for Face-to-Face interviews
