🧩 Role Overview – Playwright Test Automation Architect
New Vision Software is hiring an experienced Playwright Test Automation Architect with deep expertise in TypeScript and enterprise automation framework development.
This role is ideal for senior automation professionals who enjoy architecting scalable testing solutions, mentoring QA teams, and driving automation excellence across complex enterprise applications.
In this role, you will:
• Design enterprise-grade automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
• Lead automation strategy across UI and API testing
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality software
You will play a strategic role in establishing automation best practices, improving software quality, and accelerating release cycles.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
• Build reusable UI and API automation solutions
• Architect end-to-end automation strategies for enterprise applications
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams
• Review automation code and mentor QA engineers
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation testing
• Improve automation coverage, execution speed, and maintainability
• Support release validation and continuous quality improvement
• Drive QA best practices and automation standards across projects
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation
• Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright Automation
• Advanced programming skills in TypeScript
• Experience designing enterprise automation frameworks
• Strong knowledge of API Automation Testing
• Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• JavaScript expertise
• Selenium automation experience
• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
• Docker and container-based testing
• Cloud testing experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Performance and security testing exposure
