🧩 Role Overview – SDET Automation Testing Engineer
Wipro is looking for a skilled SDET Automation Testing Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Java.
This role is ideal for experienced automation professionals who are passionate about building reliable test frameworks, improving software quality, and ensuring high-confidence releases across enterprise applications.
In this role, you will:
• Design and execute automation testing solutions
• Build scalable test coverage using Selenium and Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery
You will play a key role in strengthening automation maturity, reducing defects, and improving release stability.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Java
• Perform Functional, Regression, and End-to-End Testing
• Build and support reusable automation frameworks
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
• Track, report, and verify defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Support release readiness and production validation
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Improve automation coverage and testing efficiency
• Contribute to quality assurance best practices and framework enhancements
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in B.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc preferred
• 5–8 years of experience in Automation Testing / SDET roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Strong programming knowledge in Java
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks
• Experience with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work effectively in enterprise delivery environments
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• API Testing knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• TestNG / JUnit framework exposure
• Git, Jenkins, or similar tool experience
• Enterprise application testing experience
