🧩 Role Overview – QA Automation Engineer / SDET
The organization is hiring a QA Automation Engineer / SDET with 5+ years of experience for locations across Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, and Chennai.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Playwright-based cross-browser automation, experience with Allure or equivalent reporting tools, and proven exposure to Non-Functional Testing (NFR) including performance and stress testing.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of SDET practices and QA metrics and be capable of contributing to automation strategy and overall quality engineering.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites
• Build robust cross-browser automation using Playwright
• Develop scalable and maintainable automation frameworks
• Implement and maintain Allure Reporting or equivalent test reporting solutions
• Perform functional and regression automation testing
• Execute cross-browser and end-to-end testing
• Plan and execute Non-Functional Testing (NFR) activities
• Support Performance Testing and Stress Testing
• Analyze test results and identify performance or quality issues
• Monitor and report key QA metrics and quality indicators
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA engineers
• Identify automation gaps and improve overall test coverage
• Participate in defect analysis, debugging, and verification
• Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable
• Contribute to QA strategy, automation best practices, and continuous improvement
• Support high-quality and stable software releases
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation / SDET
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Experience with full-stack or end-to-end cross-browser automation
• Experience with Allure Reporting or an equivalent reporting framework
• Proven experience in Non-Functional Testing
• Hands-on knowledge of Performance Testing
• Experience with Stress Testing
• Strong understanding of QA Metrics
• Experience in Functional and Regression Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
