As a QA Engineer, you will report to the Lead QA Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring that customer-facing experiences are seamless, accessible, and high-performing. Your mission is to be the guardian of quality. You will own test strategies, spot risks early in the development lifecycle, and directly impact delivery speed and production stability. 🛠️ What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
✅ Strategy & Execution
Design & Maintain: Build robust test plans for new features and continuously refine existing test suites.
Diverse Testing: Execute Smoke, Sanity, Functional, SIT, E2E, Compatibility, and Regression testing.
Platform Coverage: Perform rigorous web and mobile testing to ensure a consistent experience across all devices.
✅ Collaboration & Defect Management
Cross-Functional: Partner with Engineering, Product, and Infrastructure teams to uphold high-quality standards. Bug Tracking: Identify, log, and track defects, performing deep root cause analysis (RCA).
Knowledge Sharing: Promote best practices and mentor the wider QA team on emerging methodologies.
✅ Specialized Validation
Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-production validation.
Safeguard accessibility (AODA/WCAG) and performance standards.
Must-Haves
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of QA experience, with a heavy focus on manual testing for web and mobile.
Technical Savvy: Hands-on experience with Test Management tools, API testing, and cross-browser validation.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, obsessive attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Nice-to-Haves
Specialized Testing: Exposure to performance, accessibility (WCAG), or security testing.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Core Banking, digital lending, or fintech platforms.
