Key Responsibilities
Functional Testing: Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to ensure accurate, high-quality test coverage. Test Case Design & Execution: Write, maintain, and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Defect Management: Log, track, and communicate defects using ALM or JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
Agile Participation: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to identify potential issues early and implement quality measures.
Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results to support audit and compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements, ensuring the team adheres to QA best practices and methodologies.
Essential Skills
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Functional Testing
Solid understanding of Agile methodology and experience working in Agile teams
Strong expertise in writing test scenarios, test cases, and test plans
Proficient in ALM and JIRA for test management, defect logging, and tracking
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills, able to work with cross-functional teams
