🧩 Role Overview – Automation Test Engineer (Java Selenium / Playwright)
Adler QA is hiring skilled Automation Test Engineers to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for high-quality software delivery.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Java Selenium and/or Playwright who are ready to work onsite in Indore on contract assignments.
In this role, you will:
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks
• Execute automation across web applications and releases
• Ensure product quality through structured testing practices
You will play a key role in improving test coverage, release stability, and delivery efficiency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks
• Execute automation test cases across functional and regression cycles
• Work with Java Selenium and/or Playwright for UI automation
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar tools
• Collaborate with development and QA teams for quality assurance
• Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting
• Support CI/CD integration for automated test execution
• Ensure stable, scalable, and reliable test coverage
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
• Support release readiness and production validation
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2–10 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with Java Selenium and/or Playwright
• Good understanding of STLC & SDLC
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar bug tracking tools
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities
• Must be willing to work onsite in Indore
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with API testing tools
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Mobile or cross-browser automation experience
