🔍 Essential Skillset & Responsibilities:
💫 End-to-End Manual & Automation Testing Expertise
The candidate will be responsible for comprehensive QA testing across web, mobile, and API platforms. You will design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans covering functional, integration, system, UI, and regression testing. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive defect identification to ensure high-quality deliverables.
💫 Automation Testing & Framework Management
The role includes creating and maintaining automation test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, and Java. You will be responsible for designing reusable test components, building automation suites, and integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. The candidate should ensure smooth execution of regression cycles and provide actionable insights based on automation results.
Responsibilities include:
Automating test cases for web applications using Selenium or equivalent tools. Implementing test data management for repeatable and reliable test execution. Ensuring continuous integration with Jenkins, Git, or other DevOps pipelines. Collaborating with development and QA teams to prioritize automation scenarios.
💫 API Testing & Integration Validation
A strong understanding of API testing is mandatory. The candidate will perform detailed API validation using tools like Postman, validate request/response structures, perform authentication checks, and execute CRUD operations verification. Experience in REST and SOAP API testing is a major plus.
💫 Performance Testing with JMeter
You will be responsible for performance testing of web and API applications using JMeter. This includes load, stress, and spike testing to ensure applications can handle expected user volumes, data transactions, and concurrent requests.
💫 Mobile Application Testing (Android & iOS)
The role requires experience in mobile app testing. You will validate UI/UX, functional flows, compatibility across devices, and OS versions. Mobile automation experience using Appium or similar frameworks is highly desirable.
💫 Defect Management & Collaboration
The candidate will log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or equivalent tools, performing root cause analysis and coordinating with development teams to ensure timely resolution. You will actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and QA review sessions to ensure test coverage aligns with project goals.
💫 Test Planning, Documentation & QA Best Practices
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed test plans, test case documents, and requirement traceability matrices (RTM). Active participation in QA reviews, peer testing, and walkthroughs is expected. Continuous process improvement, adopting industry best practices, and mentoring junior QA engineers are also part of the responsibilities.
🔍 Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
💫 Minimum 3–8 years of hands-on experience in Manual and Automation testing.
💫 Strong expertise in Selenium, TestNG, Java, and related frameworks.
💫 Hands-on experience with API Testing (Postman) and backend validations.
💫 Proficiency in Performance Testing (JMeter).
💫 Experience in Mobile Application Testing (Android & iOS) is a plus.
💫 Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Git workflows, and automated testing integration.
💫 Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile methodology, and test strategy development.
💫 Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
