🔍 Essential Skillset & Responsibilities:
💫 QA Leadership & Strategy Ownership
The Team Lead – QA will be responsible for defining, driving, and owning the overall QA strategy for industrial automation and enterprise software platforms. This includes establishing testing standards, defining quality benchmarks, and ensuring consistent quality delivery across multiple releases and teams.
💫 Automation Testing & CI/CD Enablement
You will lead automation testing initiatives using tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework or Cypress, along with Selenium-based solutions. The role requires strong hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Circle CI to ensure continuous quality validation across builds and deployments.
💫 Test Case Management & Release Quality Assurance
You will oversee end-to-end test case management, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for every release. This includes planning test cycles, reviewing test artifacts, validating execution results, and ensuring defect-free releases aligned with business expectations.
💫 Team Leadership, Mentoring & Skill Development
As a QA Team Lead, you will manage and mentor a team of 5–10 QA engineers. A key responsibility is identifying skill gaps, enabling continuous learning, and ensuring the team stays aligned with modern QA tools, frameworks, and best practices.
💫 Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
The role requires close collaboration with development, product management, and business stakeholders to align quality objectives with delivery goals. You will actively participate in sprint planning, release discussions, defect triage, and quality sign-off decisions.
💫 Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement
You will drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring quality metrics, analyzing defect trends, and implementing process optimizations that improve test efficiency, delivery predictability, and overall product stability.
🔍 Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
💫 12–15 years of experience in software testing within industrial automation or enterprise software domains.
💫 Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as a QA Team Lead or Test Lead.
💫 Strong expertise in automation tools such as Robot Framework, Cypress, Selenium, Python, or Mocha.
💫 Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Circle CI.
💫 Deep understanding of QA processes, test strategy design, and quality governance.
💫 Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
💫 Experience working in Agile and DevOps-driven environments.
