💫 Advanced Automation Strategy & Quality Ownership
The Senior QA Automation Engineer will play a critical role in defining, implementing, and scaling automation strategies across multiple products and platforms. This role demands strong ownership of quality engineering practices, ensuring test automation frameworks are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals. The engineer will proactively identify quality risks, improve automation coverage, and reduce manual effort through intelligent test design.
💫 UI Automation Using Java & Selenium
You will design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Java and Selenium, following best practices such as Page Object Model (POM), reusable utilities, modular architecture, and clean coding standards. The role requires deep hands-on experience in creating stable automation suites that support cross-browser testing, parallel execution, and seamless CI integration.
💫 API Automation & Backend Validation Expertise
A significant part of this role involves validating backend services and integrations. You will design and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured and Postman, validate RESTful services, assert request/response contracts, handle authentication mechanisms, and ensure data consistency across systems. Strong understanding of HTTP methods, JSON schemas, and API error handling is essential.
💫 End-to-End Automation Scripting & Framework Enhancement
The engineer will build and enhance end-to-end automation solutions covering UI, API, and integration layers. This includes improving existing frameworks, optimizing execution time, reducing flaky tests, and introducing best practices such as test data management, reusable libraries, and environment configurations for scalable automation.
💫 Logic Building, Debugging & Problem Solving
This role requires exceptional logic-building and analytical skills. You will troubleshoot complex automation failures, analyze root causes, optimize scripts, and continuously improve framework stability. Strong debugging skills across UI flows, API responses, and test execution logs are key expectations.
💫 Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
You will work closely with developers, product owners, DevOps teams, and manual testers to ensure automation aligns with functional requirements and release timelines. Active participation in sprint planning, test strategy discussions, defect triage meetings, and release sign-offs is expected.
💫 Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement
