🔍 Essential Skillset & Responsibilities:
💫 End-to-End QA Leadership & Strategy Implementation
Support QA Head in defining, refining, and enforcing QA strategies, standards, and best practices across the SAFe program.
Ensure consistent quality process application across Scrum teams, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and exploratory testing.
Identify risks to product quality early and drive mitigation strategies proactively.
Collaborate with RTEs, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to integrate quality into PI planning and sprint ceremonies.
Assist in resource planning and workload distribution across QA teams.
Track and communicate testing progress, risks, dependencies, and quality KPIs to stakeholders.
💫 Test Planning, Execution & Risk Mitigation
Build detailed test strategies and test plans for multi-stream commercial projects.
Create, review, and maintain test documentation, traceability matrices, and requirement mappings.
Execute test cases across multiple testing types: functional, regression, performance, exploratory, and integration.
Participate in defect triage meetings, validating resolutions, and ensuring smooth release readiness.
💫 Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
Act as a QA liaison, coordinating with developers, QA leads, product owners, and external stakeholders.
Provide actionable insights to improve testing effectiveness, product quality, and release predictability.
Facilitate cross-functional discussions on defect management, quality risks, and process improvement initiatives.
💫 Hands-On Testing & Automation Collaboration
Work closely with automation teams to identify scenarios for automated testing.
Validate CI/CD pipelines and assist in integrating automated tests.
Expertise in Java, Selenium, API testing (Postman, Rest Assured), and modern testing frameworks.
Conduct database validations (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
💫 Agile & SAFe Environment Expertise
Mastery of Agile methodologies, including SCRUM, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
Experience in agile ceremonies, estimation, backlog management, and retrospective sessions.
Implementation and utilization of Agile artifacts such as SCRUM boards, burndown charts, and sprint metrics.
💫 Domain Knowledge & Compliance Awareness
Experience in supporting complex domains, particularly financial services, tax platforms, or enterprise-grade SaaS products.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements, quality compliance, and risk controls.
Understanding of mobile, cloud, and automation project QA best practices.
🔍 Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
💫 7+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA testing for enterprise software or complex SaaS solutions.
💫 Strong expertise in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
💫 Experience working in SAFe, Agile, or large-scale multi-stream projects.
💫 Knowledge of Java-based automation frameworks, Selenium, API testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
💫 Ability to communicate testing progress, risks, and quality insights effectively to stakeholders.
💫 Experience with mobile, cloud, and automation testing projects is highly desirable.
💫 Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
