As a Software Quality Engineer – Applied Networking, you will be part of Apple’s elite Internet Technologies QA & Ops team, responsible for safeguarding the quality of core communication technologies powering iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. These platforms support globally used applications such as FaceTime, Messages, Mail, and Phone, impacting hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
💫 Test Strategy, Regression Defense & Release Quality Ownership
You will lead and contribute to regression defense strategies, designing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test cases that ensure Apple’s software releases meet the highest quality standards. This role demands precision, foresight, and a deep understanding of system-level behavior across networking and UI layers.
💫 Advanced Bug Analysis, Debugging & Defect Lifecycle Management
The role involves identifying, reproducing, isolating, and documenting defects with clear, concise, and actionable bug reports. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze test failures, and ensure rapid resolution before release milestones.
