🧩 Role Overview – Functional Manual Tester (Cypress)
Grace Hire is hiring experienced Functional Manual Testers with Cypress expertise for multiple onsite opportunities across Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Pune, and Bangalore.
This role is ideal for QA professionals with a strong manual testing background and hands-on Cypress experience who want to work on enterprise applications and fast-paced delivery environments.
In this role, you will:
• Validate product functionality through structured testing cycles
• Build and execute Cypress automation scenarios
• Ensure quality releases through detailed defect management
You will play a key role in maintaining application reliability and user satisfaction.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform Functional, Sanity, Regression, and End-to-End Testing
• Design and execute detailed test cases and test plans
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Cypress
• Validate web applications across releases and environments
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Ensure complete test coverage for business requirements
• Support release validation and production readiness
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint testing cycles
• Improve QA processes and automation efficiency
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4–5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress
• Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC
• Experience in writing test cases, test plans, and defect reports
• Experience using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
• Good analytical and debugging skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ready to work onsite in mentioned locations
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• API Testing using Postman
• SQL for backend validation
• CI/CD pipeline exposure
• Agile / Scrum methodology experience
• Selenium or Playwright knowledge
