🧩 Role Overview – Automation Test Engineer (Selenium | Java | Cucumber)
Travelex is hiring a skilled Automation Test Engineer to strengthen its quality engineering capabilities.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in Selenium automation, Java, and Cucumber who are passionate about building reliable test frameworks and ensuring high-quality releases.
In this role, you will:
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for enterprise applications
• Work on functional, regression, and API validation workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
You will play a key role in improving automation coverage, release confidence, and the overall quality of global applications.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium
• Work with Cucumber-based BDD frameworks for test automation
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing across applications
• Validate application workflows and support API testing initiatives
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders for defect resolution
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects in defect management tools
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint-based testing activities
• Improve automation frameworks and QA best practices
• Ensure stable and reliable software delivery for business applications
• Support continuous improvement in quality engineering processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4–6 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium Automation Testing
• Good working knowledge of Cucumber framework
• Strong command over Core Java
• API testing knowledge preferred
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with test framework design and maintenance
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Experience in global applications or enterprise product environments
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation
