🧩 Role Overview – Senior QA Automation Engineer
RelQ Technologies is hiring an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium (Java), Playwright, API Testing, and automation framework development.
This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience building scalable automation solutions and working in SaaS or product-based environments.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks
• Execute UI and API automation testing
• Support continuous quality delivery through CI/CD integration
You will play a key role in improving automation coverage, release quality, and software reliability.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Java and Playwright
• Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks
• Perform API Testing and backend validation activities
• Execute Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams
• Identify, document, and track defects effectively
• Improve test coverage and automation efficiency
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery processes
• Ensure high-quality releases across SaaS and enterprise applications
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation / Software Testing
• Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium (Java)
• Experience with Playwright automation
• Strong knowledge of Automation Framework Development
• Hands-on experience in API Testing
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in SaaS or product-based environments is a plus
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices
• Experience with REST Assured or Postman
• Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
