🧩 Role Overview – Senior Manual Tester
Effvision is hiring an experienced Senior Manual Tester with strong expertise in web and mobile application testing.
This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and database validation within Agile environments.
In this role, you will:
• Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases
• Ensure product quality through structured QA validation
You will play a key role in improving release quality, identifying defects early, and ensuring seamless user experiences.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform Manual Testing for web and mobile applications
• Design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Conduct Functional, Regression, System, and Integration Testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA/Bugzilla
• Perform database validation using SQL queries
• Collaborate with developers and business teams for issue resolution
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and release quality
• Maintain QA documentation and execution reports
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3–6 years of experience in Manual Testing / QA
• Strong expertise in Manual Testing for web & mobile applications
• Hands-on experience in test case design & execution
• Good knowledge of JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect tracking tools
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
• Experience with SQL for database testing and validation
• Agile/Scrum working experience
• ISTQB Certification is mandatory
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to API testing
• Cross-browser and device compatibility testing experience
• Knowledge of automation basics
• Experience with enterprise or product-based applications
