🧩 Role Overview – QA Tester (Software Testing)
Globalorizon is hiring a QA Tester to support software quality across applications and release cycles.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on manual testing experience and a desire to build exposure in basic automation and defect management.
In this role, you will:
• Test applications to identify bugs and issues
• Create and execute test cases and test plans
• Work closely with developers to resolve defects
You will play a key role in ensuring product stability, usability, and release readiness.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing across applications and features
• Create, review, and execute test cases and test plans
• Identify, document, and track bugs accurately
• Collaborate with developers to verify defect fixes
• Perform basic automation testing where applicable
• Support regression, functional, and smoke testing cycles
• Ensure quality standards before release
• Maintain test documentation and reports
• Participate in Agile team activities
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 1–4 years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing
• Good understanding of Test Cases and Bug Tracking
• Knowledge of SDLC & STLC
• Basic automation knowledge, especially Selenium
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in both on-site and remote setups
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Basic API testing knowledge
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
• Experience with web application testing
