🧩 Role Overview – QA-Banking
Thriventree is hiring experienced QA professionals for banking domain projects in Bangalore and Chennai.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong manual functional testing experience, solid banking domain knowledge, and hands-on exposure to API validation and core financial workflows.
In this role, you will:
• Validate banking applications across functional and API layers
• Ensure quality for credit card and payments-related systems
• Support release readiness for high-impact financial applications
You will play a key role in ensuring application reliability, transaction accuracy, and strong customer experience across banking platforms.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual functional testing for banking applications
• Execute API testing using Postman and Swagger
• Validate business workflows across credit cards and payments domains
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects with detailed reporting
• Collaborate with developers, business teams, and QA stakeholders
• Support regression, integration, and release testing cycles
• Ensure high-quality delivery across banking and financial systems
• Work with Fiserv Vision Plus workflows and related testing scenarios
• Maintain test cases, execution evidence, and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5–10 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
• Expert experience in manual functional testing
• API testing experience using Postman and Swagger
• Strong banking domain knowledge
• Credit Cards & Payments domain experience mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Fiserv Vision Plus
• Good understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile processes
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong ownership and attention to detail
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Automation Testing exposure (preferred with 5+ years experience)
• Experience in enterprise banking applications
• Knowledge of SQL/database validation
• Familiarity with Jira or similar defect tracking tools
• Exposure to compliance-sensitive financial testing
