🧩 Role Overview – QA Lead
Programming.com is hiring an experienced QA Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives across multiple software projects.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in manual testing, stakeholder communication, project coordination, and quality management throughout the software development lifecycle.
In this role, you will:
• Lead testing activities across functional and business-critical applications
• Coordinate with developers, project teams, and client stakeholders
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases
You will play a key role in test planning, execution management, defect tracking, reporting, and maintaining quality standards across projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Lead Manual Testing activities including Functional, Regression, Smoke, and UAT Testing
• Prepare comprehensive test cases, test plans, reports, and QA documentation
• Track, manage, and verify defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools
• Coordinate closely with development teams for issue resolution and validation
• Monitor project progress and provide timely quality status updates
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release discussions
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, STLC, and quality best practices
• Support end-to-end testing and release readiness activities
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and delivery standards
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
• Strong expertise in Manual Testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, and UAT Testing
• Experience preparing test cases, execution reports, and QA documentation
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar defect management tools
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional project teams
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• API Testing using Postman or Rest Assured
• Exposure to Automation Testing concepts
• Experience with enterprise-scale software projects
• Knowledge of test metrics and reporting dashboards
• Agile/Scrum certification or related QA certifications
