🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer / Software Tester (Manual + API + Automation Basics)
TechMantra Global is hiring skilled QA Engineers to work on modern web and enterprise applications.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to build expertise in manual testing, API validation, and automation fundamentals—high CPC and high-demand skills in today’s software testing market.
In this role, you will:
• Perform end-to-end testing across applications
• Work in Agile teams for continuous delivery
• Ensure high-quality releases and seamless user experience
You will play a critical role in maintaining product stability, performance, and reliability across multiple environments.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Design and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Conduct API testing using Postman for backend validation
• Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA/Bugzilla
• Validate data using basic SQL queries
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Ensure product quality, performance, and release readiness
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong experience in Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity)
• Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman
• Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright preferred)
• Knowledge of STLC & SDLC processes
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Hands-on experience with Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
• Exposure to automation frameworks
• Experience in web and mobile application testing
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
