🧩 Role Overview – Sr. QA Automation Engineer (Playwright | AI-Driven Testing)
Computronics is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation strategy, framework design, and AI-driven testing initiatives.
This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and modern QA practices like shift-left testing and automation at scale.
In this role, you will:
• Lead end-to-end automation strategy and implementation
• Integrate AI tools into testing workflows
• Drive quality excellence across Agile teams
You will play a critical role in improving product quality, automation maturity, and delivery efficiency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Lead and implement test automation strategy across projects
• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Playwright/Selenium
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines and ensure automation coverage
• Apply shift-left testing and automation pyramid principles
• Use Generative AI for test case generation, defect analysis, and predictive insights
• Perform API testing and automation scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business teams, and developers
• Drive QA process improvements for quality and efficiency
• Conduct quality reviews and ensure consistency across teams
• Create dashboards and reports for test coverage and defect metrics
• Participate in PI planning, resource planning, and team mentoring
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Manual + Automation Testing
• Strong expertise in Playwright and Selenium
• Hands-on experience in API Testing and automation scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
• Strong experience in automation framework design and implementation
• Experience with tools like JIRA, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of QA best practices and test engineering
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with Cypress or Java-based automation frameworks
• Knowledge of TDD, Continuous Delivery, and Infrastructure as Code
• Exposure to AI/ML-based testing or advanced QA analytics
