🧩 Role Overview – QA Lead (Automation | Selenium & BDD Frameworks)
IDC Technologies is hiring an experienced QA Lead to drive automation testing initiatives and lead QA teams across enterprise projects.
This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for professionals with strong automation expertise in Selenium, Java, and BDD frameworks, along with proven team management experience.
In this role, you will:
• Lead QA teams and automation strategy
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks
• Ensure high-quality product delivery across projects
You will play a key role in improving automation coverage, delivery quality, and team performance.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Lead QA teams and manage end-to-end testing activities
• Design and implement automation frameworks using Selenium and Java
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and test suites
• Work with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow
• Define test strategies, plans, and execution approaches
• Ensure high test coverage and quality standards
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Monitor QA metrics, defect trends, and reporting
• Drive process improvements and QA best practices
• Mentor team members and enhance team productivity
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA Leadership role
• Strong expertise in Selenium with Java
• Hands-on experience with BDD tools (Cucumber / SpecFlow)
• Strong programming and scripting skills
• Experience in automation framework design and implementation
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience in team handling and delivery management
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Exposure to API Testing (Postman / REST Assured)
• Knowledge of performance testing basics
• Experience in enterprise-level applications
