🧩 Role Overview – Senior Engineer – QA Automation (Playwright | AI-Driven Testing)

EY is hiring a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and exposure to AI/ML and GenAI-driven testing.

This role is ideal for professionals who want to build intelligent automation solutions for enterprise applications and AI-enabled products while working in a fast-paced, modern delivery environment.

In this role, you will:

• Build scalable UI and API automation frameworks

• Integrate AI-first testing approaches into QA workflows

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases

You will play a critical role in improving product reliability, automation maturity, and release confidence across enterprise systems.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright

• Perform UI and API automation testing across enterprise applications

• Implement hybrid, POM, and BDD-based automation frameworks

• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines

• Work with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab for execution and reporting

• Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, and Playwright

• Validate GenAI outputs, prompts, LLM responses, and AI-driven workflows

• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders in Agile teams

• Mentor junior testers and contribute to automation best practices

• Ensure scalable, intelligent, and reliable test coverage

🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred

• 7–10 years of experience in QA / Automation Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript / JavaScript

• Experience in UI and API automation testing

• Strong knowledge of framework design: Hybrid / POM / BDD

• Exposure to GenAI / AI / ML testing workflows

• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab

• Good understanding of Agile delivery and sprint-based testing

• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills

• Strong stakeholder collaboration and mentoring abilities

⭐ Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with LLM testing and response validation

• Exposure to AI-assisted test design or prompt-based validation

• Experience with enterprise applications and product testing

• Knowledge of cloud-based test environments

• Familiarity with performance or contract testing
