🧩 Role Overview – QA Engineer (Remote)
CLEARQUOTE is hiring a QA Engineer to support quality assurance across mobile and web applications.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on manual testing experience who are passionate about quality, detail-oriented, and eager to work with a fast-moving team.
In this role, you will:
• Test mobile and web applications for functionality and usability
• Support product quality through structured QA processes
• Collaborate with teams to deliver reliable software experiences
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth releases and strong user satisfaction.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing for mobile and web applications
• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects clearly
• Support regression, functional, and exploratory testing cycle
• Collaborate with developers and product teams for issue resolution
• Validate application behavior across releases and environments
• Maintain testing documentation and reports
• Participate in Agile team activities
• Ensure high-quality product delivery
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of manual testing experience in mobile and web applications
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals
• Automation testing exposure is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and quality mindset
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices
• Exposure to API testing basics
