🧩 Role Overview – Senior Test Engineer
TestingXperts is hiring an experienced Senior Test Engineer to support end-to-end testing activities for enterprise applications.
This role is ideal for QA professionals with strong hands-on experience in Java-based automation, API validation, and modern test execution practices.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and execute test cases across applications
• Identify defects and support resolution with development teams
• Ensure reliable and high-quality software releases
You will play a key role in improving test coverage, product quality, and delivery confidence.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects with clear documentation
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams for issue resolution
• Perform API testing using Postman and Rest Assured
• Work with Selenium for automation support and regression coverage
• Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting
• Support release readiness and production validation
• Maintain test evidence, metrics, and QA documentation
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities
• Ensure timely and stable software delivery
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java
• Experience with Selenium
• Hands-on experience with Postman and Rest Assured
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile practices
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work from office in Hyderabad
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Exposure to automation frameworks
• Knowledge of JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
• API test strategy and validation experience
