🧩 Role Overview – Senior QA Automation Engineer (Banking Domain)
Test Yantra Software Solution is hiring an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer for its banking domain projects.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong QA methodology knowledge, hands-on automation experience, and solid database testing expertise in enterprise environments.
In this role, you will:
• Design and execute automation solutions across banking applications
• Ensure quality across functional and regression cycles
• Work closely with development and business teams to deliver stable releases
You will play a key role in ensuring reliability, performance, and defect-free delivery across banking systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Apply strong QA methodologies across Agile and SDLC models
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium or similar tools
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Conduct database validation using SQL / Oracle
• Work with UNIX-based environments for testing and troubleshooting
• Identify, log, track, and resolve defects and risks
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders
• Improve test coverage and automation efficiency
• Support release readiness and production validation
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 6+ years of experience in QA / Automation Testing
• Strong experience in QA methodologies across Agile and SDLC models
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium or similar tools
• Good knowledge of Java and OOPS concepts
• Experience with SQL / Oracle database testing
• Working knowledge of UNIX
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to identify, track, and resolve defects and risks
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Banking domain testing experience
• API testing exposure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with test management tools like Jira
• Experience in enterprise-grade applications
