🔍 Essential Skillset & Responsibilities:
💫 Manual Testing Expertise Across Application Workflows
This role requires hands-on experience in manual software testing, focusing on validating functional flows, business rules, and application behavior across different scenarios. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that application features meet defined requirements before release. Strong understanding of functional testing, regression testing, system testing, and basic UAT validation is essential for this role.
💫 SQL-Based Data Validation & Backend Testing
A core requirement of this position is working-level expertise in SQL for backend validation.
You will execute SQL queries to:
Validate application data accuracy
Verify database records against UI behavior
Perform basic data integrity and consistency checks
Support defect investigation and root cause analysis
Experience working with relational databases and understanding how frontend actions reflect in backend tables is highly valued.
💫 Defect Reporting & QA Collaboration
The Manual Tester will be expected to:
Log defects clearly with proper steps, screenshots, and SQL evidence
Collaborate closely with developers and senior QA members
Retest fixes and support regression cycles
Maintain test execution status and daily QA updates
Good communication skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.
