🧩 Role Overview – ETL Automation Python Tester
Iris Software Inc. is hiring an experienced ETL Automation Python Tester to support data validation and automation across enterprise systems.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in ETL testing, SQL validation, and automation tools like Selenium or Playwright, along with Python and API testing expertise.
In this role, you will:
• Validate ETL workflows and data pipelines
• Build and maintain automation for data and application testing
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and seamless system integration
You will play a key role in improving data quality, automation coverage, and release confidence.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Perform ETL testing across enterprise data flows and transformations
• Develop and execute test scripts using Python
• Validate data using SQL queries and backend checks
• Perform automation testing using Selenium or Playwright
• Conduct API testing and response validation
• Identify, track, and report defects clearly and accurately
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA teams
• Support regression, integration, and end-to-end testing cycles
• Ensure high-quality delivery of data-driven applications
• Contribute to automation framework improvement and QA best practices
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5–9 years of experience in QA / ETL Testing / Automation
• Strong experience as an ETL tester
• Hands-on experience in SQL and data validation
• Strong knowledge of Selenium or Playwright
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience in API testing
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with data warehouses and ETL pipelines
• Exposure to CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with test frameworks and reporting tools
• Experience in enterprise data projects
