🧩 Role Overview – Test Automation Engineer
TESTUNITY is hiring Test Automation Engineers to strengthen its QA team in Bangalore.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in automation testing who are passionate about building reliable test coverage, improving product quality, and working with modern automation tools.
In this role, you will:
• Build and maintain automation test coverage
• Work on modern testing tools and frameworks
• Support quality engineering across product releases
You will play a key role in improving automation efficiency, release confidence, and software reliability.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Work with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure quality delivery
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects effectively
• Support API testing and backend validation where required
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint execution
• Assist in CI/CD integration for automated test execution
• Improve automation framework stability and scalability
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2–3 years of experience in Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in at least one automation tool: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Good understanding of test frameworks and software testing concepts
• Experience with API testing is an added advantage
• CI/CD knowledge is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced product delivery environment
• Exposure to JavaScript / TypeScript / Java / Python
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Knowledge of test case design and maintenance
• Familiarity with Agile testing practices
