🧩 Role Overview – Manual QA Engineer
Intellisoft Technologies is hiring a Manual QA Engineer for a remote work-from-home opportunity.
This role is focused exclusively on Manual Testing and is ideal for professionals who have experience validating software quality through structured testing processes and defect management practices.
In this role, you will:
• Execute comprehensive manual testing activities across software applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure successful releases
You will play a critical role in maintaining software quality, enhancing user experience, and ensuring reliable product delivery.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, create, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing
• Validate application functionality against business requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities
• Maintain test execution reports and testing documentation
• Support release validation and production readiness testing
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and testing best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in Manual Testing and Quality Assurance
• Strong knowledge of Manual Testing methodologies
• Experience with Functional and Regression Testing
• Hands-on experience in Defect Tracking and Reporting
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in Test Case Design and Test Execution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of test management tools
• Exposure to API Testing
• Database testing experience
• Software quality metrics and reporting knowledge
