🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester
Shell Infotech is hiring Manual Testers with 1–4 years of experience to support quality assurance initiatives across business-critical applications.
This role is ideal for professionals who possess strong testing fundamentals, understand software development lifecycles, and are passionate about delivering high-quality software products.
In this role, you will:
• Execute manual testing activities across multiple applications
• Validate functionality, usability, and business requirements
• Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure successful project delivery
You will contribute significantly to software quality, user experience, and release readiness.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Integration Testing
• Validate application workflows against business requirements
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and sprint activities
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
• Maintain testing documentation and execution reports
• Support release validation and production readiness
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 1–4 years of experience in Manual Testing
• Good understanding of SDLC and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SAFe framework
• Hands-on experience with testing methodologies and testing tools
• Experience with Azure DevOps is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• ISTQB Certification or other QA certifications
• Experience with defect management tools
• Exposure to API Testing
• Basic Automation Testing knowledge
• Agile testing experience in enterprise environments
