🧩 Role Overview – Manual Tester

HCIACTIVE is hiring Manual Testers to strengthen its quality engineering team and ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performing software products.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in manual testing, defect management, and test execution who enjoy working in collaborative Agile environments.

In this role, you will:

• Execute comprehensive testing activities across software applications

• Identify and track defects to ensure product quality

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders throughout the software lifecycle

You will play a key role in validating functionality, enhancing user experience, and supporting successful product releases.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios

• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and Manual Testing

• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

• Validate software functionality against business requirements

• Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve issues

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives

• Maintain test documentation, reports, and execution records

• Support release validation and production readiness testing

• Ensure adherence to QA standards and testing best practices

• Contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives

🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred

• 2–5 years of experience in Manual Testing

• Strong experience in Test Case Creation and Execution

• Hands-on expertise in Bug Tracking and Defect Reporting

• Experience performing Functional, Regression, and Integration Testing

• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

• Basic understanding of API Testing

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

⭐ Nice to Have Skills

• API validation using Postman

• Exposure to Automation Testing concepts

• Database testing knowledge

• Experience with test management tools

• Agile/Scrum certification
