🧩 Role Overview – Senior QA Tester
Tracking is hiring a Senior QA Tester to strengthen its quality assurance team in New Cairo.
This role is ideal for experienced QA professionals who have strong expertise in manual testing, test planning, API validation, database testing, and quality process improvement.
In this role, you will:
• Lead testing activities across software applications
• Design effective test strategies and scenarios
• Collaborate with development and business teams to deliver reliable products
You will play a key role in improving product quality, reducing defects, and ensuring smooth releases.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Create, review, and execute detailed test plans and test cases
• Perform Manual, Functional, Regression, and System Testing
• Analyze requirements and define effective test scenarios
• Perform API Testing and validate backend workflows
• Execute Database Testing and data validation activities
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders for issue resolution
• Support release testing and quality validation
• Maintain test documentation and QA reports
• Contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards
🎯 Experience & Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Strong experience in Manual Testing
• Hands-on experience in Test Planning and Test Case Design
• Experience with API Testing
• Experience with Database Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
⭐ Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms
• Exposure to automation testing concepts
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes
